About
Hasib Nasirullah joined Morrow Sodali in 2021. As a Sr. Director, he serves as a go-to partner for clients, leading engagements across our full suite of ESG products and services:
- Materiality assessments (including double materiality in line with GRI and CSRD requirements)
- Regulation readiness assessments for emerging ESG regulation (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, SEC Rules, CA SB-253/261 and AB 1305)
- ESG team and program development, including facilitating governance through ESG councils and committees
- ESG strategy and goal setting including blueprints, roadmaps, and action plans
- ESG communications including annual reports, microsites/landing pages, and factsheets that are aligned with standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, ESRS, IFRS, and UN SDGs
- ESG questionnaires and surveys, including S&P CSA (DJSI), EcoVadis, CDP, and the UNGC CoP
- ESG ratings analyses covering raters such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, and ISS
His clients include both private and public companies across a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, automotive, logistics, and financial services, at varying maturity and ambition levels. He also has experience advising clients on combining and updating their ESG program and communications in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
Hasib has extensive experience engaging with Board and C-suite members on ESG and has led numerous interviews, trainings, workshops, and presentations. Serving as a trusted advisor, he empowers his clients to use an ESG lens to unlock stakeholder insights that create long-term business value and are aligned with a company’s business strategy and vision.
Hasib graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Political Science and from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business with an M.B.A., specializing in CSR and Global Business. He holds an FSA Level I credential from SASB. He is based in Denver, CO and New York, NY.
