Leighton has 25 years of experience in corporate sustainability and ESG – based both in the UK and Switzerland – spanning in-house corporate roles, technical consultancy, strategic advisory and communications.
He joined Powerscourt in 2020 as head of sustainability & ESG having previously held leadership roles at other communications firms. Before moving to London in 2015, he was based in Switzerland, working in-house at Syngenta before taking leadership roles at Swiss-headquartered sustainability consultancies.
Leighton leads Powerscourt’s sustainability and ESG team, advising clients on positioning, communications and disclosure across various channels. He works across all sectors and geographies and specializes in strategy development, narrative and messaging, campaigns, media engagement and corporate reporting & disclosure.
Leighton holds a first-class honors degree in psychology from the University of Derby in the UK.
