Andrew Stevenson is a globally recognised governance professional having worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. His extensive network of relationships with senior professionals includes the world’s most influential institutional shareholders as well as retail investors.
Andrew has worked in many facets of the financial services industry globally, having started working for Gilbert Elliot and Killik & Co in the UK, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan in Australia, Sal Oppenheim & Cie in Germany, and Merchant Securities. Andrew has worked at custodians, back and front offices so has a firm understanding of the settlement chain.
Since moving into corporate governance Andrew’s extensive knowledge of a range of corporate governance issues has enabled him to facilitate a number of successful engagement roadshows for some of the world’s most prominent companies such as Bayer AG, Fresenius Medical, Groupe Casino and Zurich Insurance. He is an expert in investor relations and proxy solicitation enabling companies to effectively communicate strategic and operational imperatives to help ensure successful engagement campaigns.
Andrew has worked on a range of mergers and acquisitions from the Glencore/Xstrata merger, Delhaize’s combination with Ahold to Delphi Automotive’s offer for Hellermann Tyton.
