Mr. Kinomura has more than 20 years of experience working for domestic and international financial institutions, providing financing, settlement and hedging services to many Japanese listed companies through his corporate finance business, both in Japan and overseas.
He has worked for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as the Vice President of Business Promotion in Bangkok branch and HSBC as the Head of Business Development in the Commercial Banking Division, where he led the team and contributed to the growth of clients' overseas business.
He has also assisted Japanese listed companies in various aspects of sustainable finance including green bonds.
He has also worked at Sustainalytics Japan, where he assessed the eligibility of specific frameworks based on investors’ view of sustainable finance principles and policies and helped disseminate the company's ESG risk rating data and methodology.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.
