Oleg has nearly 20 years of experience in board services and governance policy advisory. He took part in the drafting of the Russian Corporate Governance Code (2014) and contributed to the development of ownership policies and bank governance regulation in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
From 2018 to 2021, Oleg led the Corporate Governance Services group at EY in Moscow, overseeing the firm’s policy advisory projects, conducting board assessments at listed companies, providing governance advice to non-public companies, and helping clients to prepare for an IPO. Prior to this, Oleg held a similar position with Deloitte in Moscow for six years where he led the Deloitte CIS Center for Corporate Governance.
From 2004 to 2011, Oleg was employed by Standard & Poor’s, where he served as the analytical director for the Governance Services Group.
Oleg spent five years in the Netherlands pursuing an academic career, focusing on research in the performance of top management teams. He holds a PhD in Organization and Strategy from Tilburg University (2004).
In 2014, Oleg was presented with a “Rising Star of Corporate Governance” Award by Columbia Law School’s Ira Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership.
