Grace Salonga is Senior Director - M&A and Proxy Advisory - Canada with Morrow Sodali. Prior to Morrow Sodali's acquisition of Gryphon Advsiors, Grace was Senior VIce President with Gryphon. Grace has approximately three decades of financial services industry experience including expertise in proxy solicitation, shareholder identification and information agent services. Grace has worked on a number of high profile deals in North America involving proxy fights, annual and special shareholder meetings and complex M & A transactions. She has in-depth knowledge of solicitation strategies for shareholder meetings, tender offers and corporate governance issues as well as client management and servicing, voting process, and investor communication. In addition, Grace has strong relationships within the institutional and retail investor community along with various financial intermediaries.
Prior to joining Gryphon, Grace was Vice President, Operations at D.F. King. She has extensive experience in financial advisory services and equity research following her employment with BNP Paribas Securities and ABN AMRO Securities.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Statistics degree from the University of the Philippines. She completed the Canadian Securities Course and is a member of Women in Capital Markets (WCM).
