Giovanni is Director, Corporate Governance at Morrow Sodali. He has gained extensive Corporate Governance experience in European contest, performing governance and board effectiveness reviews, policy advice and research for banks, listed and/or family business companies, state-owned companies, international organizations, and market supervisors.
Giovanni started his career in multinational companies as General Counsel and Executive Director at Hoffman La Roche Italy (including a full year experience at the American branch in New York City), Air Liquide Italia and Techint International Group, dealing in particular with corporate and organizational affairs.
He has been then appointed as Chairman and Consultancy Director of an Italian Consulting company, strongly tied to corporate governance and internal control systems matter of listed and regulated industrial and financial groups.
He regularly performs induction programs for Italian Bankers Association (ABI) and is scientific responsible for 24Ore Business School aimed to train Directors and Auditors.
Giovanni graduated in Law University of Turin, had been formerly member of the Milan Bar Association, and obtained a master in international acquisitions at Bocconi University of Milan.
