Webinar: Shareholder Proposal Time
The Society for Corporate Governance's New York Chapter invites you to join them on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at 12 noon EST for a webinar focusing on Shareholder Proposals.
Shareholder proposals for the 2021 proxy season are increasingly focused on social matters: employee diversity reports, conversion to a public benefit corporation, racial and gender pay gap reports, racial justice – and more! Of course, resolutions focused on environmental issues also remain prominent, including climate lobbying, reports on GHG emissions, and drilling in the Arctic, as do governance proposals.
Join Lori Zyskowski from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Bill Ultan from Morrow Sodali for a discussion on the shareholder proposals for the upcoming 2021 season. We will also discuss recent SEC rulemaking on shareholder proposals and what to expect under the new Administration.
