Good governance of sustainability

The sustainability of business activities is increasingly at the heart of the responsibilities of boards, along with reducing the business risk and increasing profitability.

Stakeholder capitalism changes the perspective of boards with respect to risk oversight activities. There are many factors that impact the transformational process of the business models to align with Fit for 55 targets in 2030 and Net zero in 2050. In this respect, the European Union is progressively introducing changes to the regulatory framework to convey the ecological transition toward new business models. The new G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance which are currently under consultation are to be issued in 2023.

Join Morrow Sodali at the conference “Good governance of sustainability” organized by AISCA on 5th July, for a special overview of integrated and rigorous sustainability, that is based on a solid and efficient governance structure, a good capability of performance assessment, quality control of corporate reporting, as well as an effective response to due diligence and obligations.

The event can be attended either in person (at KPMG, Via Curtatone 3, Rome) or online via Teams, and will feature a panel of experts, including Andrea Di Segni, Morrow Sodali’s Managing Director.
