Consumer Rules Summit 2023

David Risser, Managing Director at Morrow Sodali, will be a speaker at the EBRD’s Consumer Rules Summit, which will be held on 24-25th April at the Hilton Garden Inn in Zagreb. 

The Consumer Rules Summit 2023, co-organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Conference Republic, will focus on new developments and global trends in the agribusiness, FMCG, retail and distribution sectors within South-East Europe, and also the wider Central and Eastern European markets, amid the current geopolitical challenges, and energy and inflation crises.

David will be speaking on the topic of corporate governance in family businesses on Tuesday, April 25 at 14:00 and provide the introductory comments to the panel discussion moderated by Pavle Đurić, Principal Counsel – Corporate Governance, EBRD. The panel will consider questions such as:

• How to balance it out – family and business – in the most effective way for a business to continue its growth?
• Is effective corporate governance a resilient measure in challenging times?
• Succession, entitlement, emotions are the basis for a good Netflix drama – how to turn it into a rom-com with a happy end?
