Alvise Recchi, Sodali's CEO, interviewed by the South African newspaper financial mail, talks about the importance of a proper and timely communication with shareholders. He points out how the communication between issuers and shareholders is often really confused: therein lies the value added Sodali wants to bring to South Africa. “I’m not convinced that SA companies speak to their [foreign] shareholders too much. We get appointed by corporates to defend them — which is often too late — but what we want is to be appointed in advance of certain situations.”
