Proxy Update Canada: PROPOSED ISS BENCHMARK POLICY CHANGES FOR 2023

Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. (“ISS”) recently announced the launch of its 2023 Benchmark Voting Policy comment period which solicits feedback for policy changes effective on or after February 1, 2023. This year for Canadian market, ISS has proposed the changes related to the adoption of a Climate Board Accountability policy and board level ethnic and/or racial diversity.
