Emilia Lindvall Senior Director, Consulting, FrameworkESG
About
Having lived an expatriate lifestyle for over 25 years,
Emilia has developed skills of adaptability, resilience, and a keen sense of
cultural and social awareness. After graduating from the University of
California, Davis, with a degree in conservation biology and managerial
economics and receiving a Graduate Diploma in sustainable investing from
Concordia University, Emilia pursued a career in environmental, social, and
governance (ESG).
Prior to joining the FrameworkESG team as a consultant,
Emilia spent several years in the energy sector listed on both the North
American and Swedish markets. Working at these global companies, with assets
and teams across South, Central, and North America, Europe, and the Middle East,
she started her ESG career in corporate communication and investor relations –
a cross-functional department at the company. During this time, she played a
key role in the corporate social and environmental responsibility strategy and
disclosure – including the annual Corporate Social Report disclosures, greenhouse
gas (GHG) inventory reports, and enhancing the company’s ESG rating scores. She
then moved to another energy company, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and
became the Head Corporate ESG and HSE department. There she worked closely with
the Board of Directors and C-suite to spearhead the company’s global
environmental, social, safety, and governance strategy, implementation, and
disclosures. Today, she works as a consultant at FrameworkESG a Morrow Sodali Company,
supporting and guiding clients, across industries, in their ESG strategy and
disclosures. She leads teams to conduct materiality assessments, improve client ESG
strategy and implementation, develop ESG reports and disclosures, as well as
perform adherence to global sustainability standards like GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
