Professional development at Morrow Sodali:

As a recent addition to the Morrow Sodali team, by way of corporate acquisition, I believe my growth opportunities will increase significantly, due to the number of opportunities that will be made available to me and others within the organization. The “can do” attitude that permeates throughout the company is sign of one that allows its people to be creative and innovative in the everchanging world we live in.

The growing importance of ESG and sustainability for our clients:

I think the biggest challenges for our issuer clients will be around ESG and what that means for them. For the most part, most issuers understand the Governance piece of ESG, but there is so much more to understand and navigate when dealing with the Environmental and Social parts of ESG. Issuer clients will need to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves tough questions, such as what is or will be their relationship with their community? Who is their community? What is their community? There will be different answers for different issuers with different implications. This will be top of mind for the next three to seven years, trying to understand what this all means, while still attempting to increase shareholder value.

How globalization is changing the future of global corporations and our role in helping our clients realize that future:

For large issuers, globalization has not been disrupted, as these issuers were able to find alternative ways to provide services to their customers. For the smaller issuers, the recent events have had enormous effects on culture and profitability. Our role is to find creative ways to ensure our clients can receive our services in a timely and efficient manner, as well as to be forward thinking and to foresee potential problems and issues that they may face and to provide them with solutions or at the very least make them aware.

The role of technology in advancing our mission and our vision for bringing value to our clients:

Technology is the future of this business, whether it be from a platform for various services or data mining. That said, there is a part of this business that is not reliant on strategy – it is reliant on knowledgeable people that can provide sage advice to their clients.

The best thing about working at Morrow Sodali:

Autonomy and seeing the investment in retaining the best people in the industry, which allows us to collaborate and challenge ourselves to be better.
