REPORT ON SHAREHOLDER ACTIVISM

In a report published by leading French legal think tank Le Club des Juristes, scholars and industry experts review the current state of shareholder activism and identify the areas that require improvement, before suggesting how to enhance the legal framework or best practices that govern shareholder engagement as practiced by activists.
 
Jean-Florent Rérolle, Managing Director at Morrow Sodali, participated in this effort as a member of the report’s Working Commission chaired by Michel Prada, former Chairman of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), and managed by Commission Rapporteur Benjamin Kanovitch, Partner at leading French law firm Bredin Prat.
